The Agent Asha spy series is about Asha, an 11-year-old hacker and secret agent for the Children's Spy Agency. She's on a mission to save the world, one algorithm at a time. Published by Walker Books, this award-winning series brings STEM and coding to life for young readers.
Secondary schools still run on industrial-era timetables and one‑size‑fits‑all curricula, leaving too many teenagers disengaged, anxious, and underprepared for the real world.Nexa School is an actual secondary school (real building, real friends) that blends 2 hours/day of personalised academics with 4+ hours of hands-on projects building real-world skills like resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving. Sounds cool, right? Get in touch if you'd like to know more.

When I'm not writing about spies or scheming up new schools, I split my time between Bright Little Labs (the Warner Bros. Discovery-backed kids' media company I founded), advising UK Parliament on AI policy, and as Professor of AI at Scott Galloway's MBA school. My love for tech and its intersection with people took shape when I worked with Google, Code Club and the Department for Education to introduce the computing curriculum in primary schools across England.Turns out building things is addictive, and I've since been on founding teams that led to a Cisco acquisition and a stock exchange listing. Along the way, I've learned that the best way to predict the future is to build it.
Am i afraid of robot overlords? A bit. But I’m afraid of human overlords too.I recognise the huge ethical challenges surrounding AI and our digital spaces more widely - the risks to our privacy, marginalised groups, attention spans, and happiness. But I’m just as excited about its potential to act as a force for good, and I want to be part of that movement.Part of that is empowering creatives to harness AI in a way that is inclusive and helpful, to democratise access to a notoriously closed industry, to ensure creatives are compensated properly, and by ensuring that everyone has a chance to participate in shaping the creative landscape of the future.Alongside my work in children’s media, I advise Victoria Collins MP, DSIT spokesperson, on AI and tech policy - with a focus on keeping innovation, safety and children’s rights in balance.

As a creator in the children's media space, I'm deeply invested in understanding how AI will shape the lives and experiences of young people, and protecting their childhood and humanity. It's a complex area that deserves our most thoughtful attention, exploration and discussion.
Inspired by my work as a play therapist and by the impact of shows like Sesame Street, I'm also passionate about equipping children with the skills to become creators with technology, not just passive consumers. This is even more crucial with the rise of AI.
